We are delighted to have obtained Planning Permission for a large residential development in Droylsden, Tameside for a Private Client. The development comprises a mix of 50 No. high quality 3 bed and 4 bed semi-detached houses, with integral parking, private drives and gardens, along with 66 No. 1 bed and 2 bed apartments with 100% parking and amenity areas. The land lay derelict for a period of time after its former use as an industrial site and it was a positive initiative by Tameside Council to accept the site to be released for residential use. NC Architecture led a highly experienced and driven Design Team, consisting of Highway Consultants, Planning Consultants, Ecological Consultants, Arboriculturists, Urban & Landscape Architects, Acoustic Consultants, Air Quality Consultants and Geo-Technical Consultants, to deliver a design that met with Tameside Council’s vision of a design-led, family-orientated, high quality and sustainable development, as part of regeneration of the area. Proximity to Ashton Canal also meant a sensitive design approach to the protection of the designated site and its habitat. The Public and Councillors were very supportive of the scheme during the Planning Process. Development is due to commence early 2019.
