Snape Lane Barns, Cheshire

Construction is well under way for the renovation of these 1890 barns in Weston, within Cheshire East greenbelt and open countryside. The barns are being converted into seven houses; a mix of two and three bedroom dwellings with garages and gardens looking out over the countryside. The existing brick buildings are to be retained using existing openings wherever possible. The introduction of timber cladding, conservation rooflights, double height spaces and exposed historic timber trusses, aims to transform these redundant agricultural barns into new homes. NC Architecture are pleased to have been involved in the Planning process, production of the detailed design information and construction of this exciting project. Completion due Spring 2019.
