Stunning New Home Obtains Planning

We are delighted to have successfully obtained planning permission for this beautiful luxury replacement dwelling in the Caldy Conservation Area on the edge of the Green Belt.

This stunning new luxury home has been designed as a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Arts & Crafts vernacular. The materials palette consists of smooth white through render and buff sandstone features with dark blue grey slate tiles. Slimline aluminum framed windows and doors add a contemporary edge to the glazing.

Staggered forms both in plan and elevation seeks to differentiate its internal uses, creates visual interest and helps break up the massing. The varying ridge heights, pitched gables and dormers all combine to create a fluidity to the roofline which is in keeping with the character of the conservation area. Protruding stone bays and recesses also provides movement and visual interest to the facade. The single storey flat roof to the rear helps retain the openness, maximizes light and views to the paddock and Green Belt beyond.
