Luxury Homes
Broadoaks

The brief for this scheme was to design a large, luxurious, contemporary six bed family home. The Client had been to our website and contacted us after being inspired by another project of ours, Seven.

The house was to be approx. 8,000sqft, set over two floors and follow the modern ‘Arts and Crafts’ style. In addition to this, the Client wanted a crisp, clean cut contemporary styling internally. This informed the design of the external fabric and themed internal layout.

The site sits within designated “open countryside”, an area of specialism for us, and had the benefit of an extant Planning Consent for two new build dwellings, of approx. 3,500sqft each. We felt our Application for one dwelling would sit well with the neighbours and the Council would be supportive.

This luxurious home features a top-of-the-range automation system and the use of renewable energy and sustainable drainage makes this one of the most sustainable and technologically advanced homes we have done to date.

Broadoaks is a modern interpretation of the 'Arts & Crafts' style. In designing Broadoaks, we have combined the asymmetry associated with 'Arts & Crafts', alongside modern finishes and materials.

The 'Arts & Crafts' aesthetic is about simple, traditional building forms, the use of natural materials and the celebration of craftmanship and individuality.

Broadoaks embodies a style of architecture that is loved by clients who like the character and charm of period properties but want something on a larger scale.

A modern, luxury home full of individuality, Broadoaks is designed in a a signature style of NC Architecture's luxury homes in Cheshire.

This luxurious home will has a top-of-the-range home automation system and also employs the use of renewable energy via Ground Source Heat Pumps in the large surrounding gardens; solar panels take advantage of the South facing orientation of the rear elevation.

Power harnessed from the renewable energy sources is be used to heat up water for the underfloor heating system and other appliances. The dwelling also features a sustainable drainage design, by installation of soakaways to drain surface water naturally.

The ground floor includes feature entrance with highly glazed porch opening to the upper floor as an atrium, feature staircase and wow gallery, triple garage, large kitchen / day room, utility / boot / dog room, cloaks / WC, media / cinema room, snug, formal lounge. Gym with steam / sauna / shower.

The first floor includes large master bed / his and hers dressing with large feature en-suite, bed two with en-suite and dressing, three further bedrooms with dressing / en-suites, self-contained guest bedroom over the garage. Feature terraces off master and bed two.
