Our brief for this scheme was to design a large, luxurious, contemporary six-bed family home. The house was to be approx. 8,000sqft, set over two floors and follow the modern ‘Arts & Crafts’ style. In addition to this, the Client wanted a crisp, clean-cut contemporary styling internally. This informed the design of the external fabric and themed internal layout. The site sits within designated ‘open countryside’ and had the benefit of an extant Planning Consent, for two new build dwellings of approx. 3,500sqft each. A top-of-the-range automation system and the use of renewable energy and sustainable drainage, makes this one of the most sustainable and technologically advanced dwellings we have done to date.
