The contemporary design of the traditional agricultural form, features high quality detailing and utilises traditional materials such as Cheshire Brick and Siberian Larch, to complement the modern aesthetic. The site, designated as greenbelt and Open Countryside, is a former Prisoner of War working hostel, that had approximately 30 Nissen huts of varying sizes. The site ceased to be used at the end of the Second World War. The hard-standing road and driveways from the entrances, have been carefully considered to reduce the amount of hard landscaping on the site, reducing the overall impact on the greenbelt.
